Products and compatibility
Headunits are specialist vehicle components. Unless expressly described as new, units are pre-owned and professionally prepared. Part numbers, vehicle configuration and existing hardware affect compatibility. Customers should request a compatibility check if unsure.
Third-party trademarks and independence
MIB Unlocked is an independent specialist and is not affiliated with, authorised, sponsored or endorsed by Volkswagen AG, Audi AG, Škoda Auto, SEAT S.A. or Apple Inc. Vehicle manufacturer names and part numbers are used only to identify product compatibility and origin.
Apple and CarPlay are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda, SEAT and other manufacturer names and marks belong to their respective owners. No ownership of third-party marks is claimed.
Prices and payment
Prices shown are in pounds sterling and are the total product or service price charged through Stripe. No additional delivery charge is currently added at checkout. Any change to this will be displayed before payment. Payment is taken when the Stripe Checkout transaction completes.
Formation of the contract
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when payment is accepted and an order confirmation is issued. We may refund and decline an order where stock, compatibility, pricing or legal restrictions prevent fulfilment.
Headunit orders
In-stock goods are normally dispatched within 3 working days. UK delivery normally takes a further 2-5 working days; international delivery normally takes 5-15 working days and may be affected by customs. Delivery will be made no later than 30 days after the contract unless another date is agreed.
Patching service
You must send a compatible unit securely packaged and quote the order reference. The normal service target is 5-7 working days after receipt, excluding return delivery. You remain responsible for removing the unit, safe packaging, inbound postage and backing up any data where relevant.
If you expressly ask us to start during the 14-day cancellation period, you must pay a proportionate amount for work completed before cancellation. Once the service has been fully performed following your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right for that service ends.
Cancellation and returns
Consumers normally have 14 days after receiving goods to notify us that they wish to cancel, followed by 14 days to return them. Service contracts normally have a 14-day cancellation period from contract formation. Full details and the model cancellation form are in our delivery and returns policy.
Faults and statutory rights
Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known and accepted. Services must be performed with reasonable care and skill. These terms do not limit your statutory rights. No separate commercial guarantee is offered unless stated in writing for a specific product.
Customer-supplied hardware
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, undisclosed damage, incompatible modifications, data loss that could reasonably have been backed up, or damage caused by inadequate inbound packaging. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory consumer rights, or any liability that cannot legally be limited. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made.
Law
These terms are governed by the law applicable in the part of the UK where the trader is established. Consumers retain any mandatory protections of the country in which they live.
