Information we collect
We collect contact details, vehicle and compatibility information, photographs you upload, enquiry correspondence, order and delivery details, payment status and technical records needed to protect the service. Card details are collected by Stripe and are not stored by us.
Why we use it
- To answer compatibility enquiries and take steps you request before entering a contract.
- To process orders, provide patching services, deliver goods and provide support.
- To meet accounting, tax, consumer protection and other legal obligations.
- To prevent abuse, maintain security and establish or defend legal claims.
Our main lawful bases are contract and steps taken at your request before a contract, legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business. We do not use compatibility enquiries for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.
Who receives it
We use Cloudflare for hosting, database and private image storage, Stripe for checkout and payments, Resend for transactional email, and delivery providers where needed to fulfil an order. We disclose only the information each provider needs.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or another lawful safeguard.
Retention
- Compatibility enquiries and uploaded photographs: normally 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Order, payment, delivery and accounting records: normally 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year.
- Security and webhook records: only as long as reasonably needed for fraud prevention, reliability and legal claims, normally no longer than 6 years.
Information may be retained longer where a dispute, legal requirement or active customer relationship makes that necessary.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection where the relevant right applies. Contact us using our contact form. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and analytics
The site does not currently set optional advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe and Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technology to provide security, checkout and network services.
